Complex Revision Knee Replacement

Surgery for the failing knee replacement encompasses a spectrum of potential problems to be addressed. I have an extensive experience of managing the problems from severe bone loss around the knee. I will use these surgical techniques along with modern materials and components to address the problems encountered in a complex revision knee replacement.

I have experience of replacing the femoral bone (the thigh bone) at the distal end (where it meets the knee) and the tibial bone (the top of the shin) when needed for significant bone loss or infection. I use implants that can fully replace the ligaments in your knee when significant bone or soft tissue loss has occurred due to repeated procedures, infection or trauma.

I will fully assess your case and discuss all options with you prior to undertaking any surgery.
